I agree the bag being large enough so they aren't cramped. I put a firm piece in the bottom of my bags. I preferr a firm bottom for Baby Blessing. It is a piece that can come out, I cover it with a little padding so its softer. I think a zipper closeure is nice, one don't have to use it but we have had times when it came in handy, the pockets really come in handy, one always to put treats in
I usely put at least four pockets on mine with velcro to keep them closed.
