Yep, I did it!! I will confess!! Many years (well not THAT many) and quite a few pounds ago I competed in the Miss America program to earn scholarships for school. After that I did a little contestant coaching and judging locally. I still LOVE watching pageants, although the only ones I pick that get in the top 5 are with the Miss America program. I still haven't figured out the Miss USA/Universe/World thing!! I get the Jr. Miss stuff fairly close as well. SO, I say GO FOR IT!!! Hire yourself a good personal trainer, get swimsuit ready, and find a killer wardrobe. Work on your interview skills (I will try to remember the CDs I used) current events, and most of all HAVE FUN!!
