My boyfriend and I have a Pom (8lbs) and a Yorkie (2 1/2 lbs). We're thinking of getting a much larger dog for protection. Jimmy works graveyard shifts, so I'm alone most of the night. Does anyone have yorkies and large dogs? Do they usually get along ok? I'm worried my babies might get hurt unintentionally from playing. What do you all think? We're thinking bullmastiff since they're usually pretty docile.
