i say go for it! but they don't always pick the most beautiful! the attire and walk are also very important, you also may have interviews and so on.photogenic they like face /head shots mainly. hiring a pageant trainer is a great idea but it's going to all be very expensive! i use to put my little girl in pageants before she was 2 and i would get really angry because they didn't seem fair to me..but what do i know eh? there were moms that were curling their under 1yr babys hair and using more spray than i do! they also seem to lean more towards the most expensive outfits/made up entrys also. i didn't over do all that for my toddler because i didn't think she needed it. she did get a few titles and nothing else can compare to the feeling of winning but nothing else can feel like not even placing either when you know you deserve it! good luck!!
