It doesn't sound right for them to clip the nails without telling you, especially if it's not an office you regularly go to. If they thought your dog needed to have her nails clipped they should have asked you, or told you. Did they charge you for it? I know a lot of vets charge for clipping nails.
My husband is more optimistic He thinks they might have clipped her nails to get your business regularly, thinking you would appreciate it.
I don't know. I am glad your baby is okay though.
