I am sorry I missed this thread!! I live in Wayne county and just saw in the paper the other day they there were taking dogs for the auction. I have never been to one of them because I figured for them to have that many dogs and breeds it has to be a puppy mill. Especially since this is puppymill territory around here, alot of amish people run puppy mills here. It is sooo sad and makes me angry. They also have a auction, quite frequently, every month or couple of months in Canton at a hotel that they auction off the puppies and I happened to see pictures of the puppies and they are horrible looking, so scared and so unhealthy looking. You have to watch that around here, there are sooo many puppymills!!!
Berlin is not far from me either, like I said sooooo many puppymills!! That is why when I do start breeding next year, I will have a very strict contract to make sure my puppies will go to the best homes and not end up as puppymill puppies!! It is so sad and makes me so angry that there are people out there who can do this to those poor dogs.
And to say there is no such thing as puppymills just makes me furious!!!!!!!
I can understand why you were so upset by this!! How can people be so heartless and stupid!!!
Sorry for venting, but I see it all too much here where I live.
