My Elle starting it the night I got her. She had a vet apt the next day, to have her checked out, anyway. She had kennel cough. It's been over a month and she still coughs in the morning alot, and if she gets REALLY excited. I have taken her to the vet 4 times since then trying different meds and getting several shots. At the last appt, the vet said that the kennel cough was gone but now her throat was very irratated. So she told me to buy her some childrens robittusin. That seems to help after I give it to her, even though she hates the taste of it.
But I would def. recommend keeping an eye on her and keep her on antibiotics. They can develop pneumonia if left untreated.
Good luck. And I hope she gets better soon.
