Default size

IMO..We pick a breed to fit our lifestyle..we do not change a breed to fit our lifestyle.
Perhaps, I am not seeing the point..but why disregard a standard to suit our fancy? If you want a sturdier type dog for a family, pick another breed..what some fail to realize is..by changing the standard, we lose type..lose type and within a generation or so you no longer have a true Yorkie..you can not change size without effecting other traits...that is why we get so many threads entitled..IS my Yorkie really a Yorkie?"
