Sorry to hear about your little Reese. Well I have to say I am glad we decided to do the surgery in April. I could not bear to watch Cody be debilitated the way he was. Anyway, he is 3 months post op and is doing fine. We got another Yorkie in June and they are great playmates and the puppy is probably helping the recovery along. Cody doesn/t seem to be able to run as long as he did before but he will only limp now occassionally--I think he will continue to improve. We paid about the same for his surgery which was a drag but he is part of the family!! anyway, best of luck to you in making your decision..
