I also don't think price is important at all. When we get these little babies, we agree to live together for the next 15-16 years. Even if you have paid 1500, that's only 100 a year. Compared to that, the love we get from them is priceless.
I've paid 900 for Mia, but the next time I get a Yorkie I will not mind if she costs 3000.
I think the reason prices are so high is because good breeders actually spend that much on the pups. Bad breeders and puppy mills just ask the same amount without putting in the effort just because they can.
