Default need some advise

Hi All:

This may sound a little strange but because of the length of the situation that I just or am just comming out of I am a little mistrusting of vets at this time. I just brought my 4 1/2 yr oldYorkie in for a tooth extraction and first teeth cleaning. I had to bring her to her old vet (story too long to explaine right now) for this procedure. I stopped going to him 3 yrs ago because of his nasty lack luster staff-office.

Her cleaning and extraction look as if they came out beautiful-whew. But on the way home I noticed that they clipped her nails. When I ot her in the house I noticed that they clipped her nails "very" short....looks like into the quick. Which would be painful. My question is would there be any signs when I got her home if when they cut her nails they did cut them low enough for them to bleed? I was supposed to be able to pick her up at 12 or 1 and they kept her till 4. I know that they would have to be pretty weird to do that but I really don't like the staff at that office and would not have taken her there if it wasn't almost at the point of an emergency extraction. The vet was on my Ok list but not familar with his assistants. No one talks in that place.

Help if you can.

Thanks in advance
Tina
