I met a fellow "Yorkie lover" in Louisiana who almost killed her baby with sausage!!
She said her baby had been just picking at her food for several days and she was about to eat some sausage and her yorkie begged for some and she gave it to her! They had to rush her to the vet and for two or three days didn't know if she would live! I believe I would ask my vet before I gave her anything other than chicken! One thing I have learned [and been surprised] is that their little systems just can't tolerate is onion, chocolate, spicy foods and didn't have a clue until Kindness posted about grapes!! I have found that owning a Yorkie causes you to learn new things every day!!!
