It is not red anywhere. There are lil brownish spots that kinda look a lil crusty but not raised. Almost like when a kid doesnt wash behind his ears and then you have to go and scrub it lol. I know wierd but thats what it reminds of. It also feels kinda of leathery and it is kinda bluish.
