Hello all I just trimmed all 6 of my babies nails today...I have the clippers with the safety thing on the back and I love it...Can't remember where we got it tho...I'll try to get a photo of them and post it for U. I use these on my mommy and daddy, on the 4 babies that are 12 weeks old now I started cutting them early and yes I did cut it & make it bleed with baby clippers but I have this what is called "Blood Stop Powder" and it works like a charm...Stops the bleeding right then...I've also nicked Teddys ear with the clippers and I put that Blood Stop on it and stopped it right away...I got it @ our local tractor supply recommended by my cousin. I trim all mine every week on the same day...When we bought our clippers it said to until we get them the length we want them...The puppies grow faster the our mommy and daddy's does so we do our parents like every other week. I have noticed that even tho I clip the puppies they still can scratch U so I have a hand nail kit for me & I use it on ALL my dogs nails to take the edge off of them, I use the what is called Grinding cone and it works so good, I have a dremel too and I too think it would go to fast and get the fur caught even tho it has 2 settings, my kit is very slow when turned on..Hope this helps U.
