I am sorry to tell you this but... first of all, no one that doesn't know you very very well is going to let you leave with one of their pups with only putting down a deposit. It just is not very wise. One will let you pay a little at a time, but pup doesn't leave the breeder till paid in full. Second, YorkieRose is right ~ whelping is very expensive and you must have the money saved for emergencies. Therefor you should have already paid for the female in full to start saving to breed her. Third, any reputable and experienced knowledgable breeder is not going to sell you a breeder as a young pup. I do not know if one of my pups has any good qualities that I want passed on till she is at least 6 months old, better at one year. So no full registration till then. I have to be responsible for the future pups my pups may have.
Nothing against you - it is just how things are done. Sorry ~ yorkies are not like cats. Even in the cat world - what you are talking about only happens with close friends and with contracts.
