You are not going to like what I say...breeding is very expensive. If you do not have enough money to pay for a pup outright..and a good one will run $1500 and up, then breeding is not something you should do IMO.. Anyone who breeds a litter needs $1000 put away for the vet in case of problems...simple vet fees consisting of tail/declaw, shots, worm checks, health checks on pups is very costly...heaven fobid your bitch needs a section.

It wasn't long ago I read a post on another forum where the breeder had no money to take her bitch for a shot of oxyie to get out the last pup..bitch labored for hours and finally passed a dead pup...no excuse for that one.
