Pat, I use Coat Handlers Shampoo and Coat Handlers Conditioner. The shampoo won't burn their little eyes. I shampoo her head, being careful not to get it in her eyes ... I have gotten it in her eyes before but she doesn't react any worse than if it is just clear water. Toto doesn't like water in their eyes!! I keep a close check on her hair and skin [the vet sees her almost every month] to make sure it stays healthy. I never use a dryer on her ... I make her bath time when I know I will have plenty of time to just wrap her in a big warm towel and sit and hold her until she is just damp dry [sometimes we snuggle up and nap]! When she is almost dry, I brush her really good and she loves it and so do I! It gives us time for just us!!
