Koko was always healthy as could be til his last year(he was16yrs). He was blind due to cataracts but got around just fine. Loved to go in the car. Btw, in his earlier years before we knew better, he ate all the stuff they aren't supposed to have..even chocolate.
The last year he started failing..couldn't walk, wouldn't eat. We had to have him put to sleep.
