Every year for the last 12 years our town (we live just north in the country) has what is called the "Hotdog Festival". The high school team is the Frankfort Hotdogs. I guess that's where they got the name. Anyway..they have bands, a hotdog eating contest, 3 on 1 basketball tourney, golf and a lot of craft booths (they are fun) and other things too. This year they are having a Diva Dog contest where the dog has a mike and sings
(ought to be funny) and also a fashion show
. The bad part is for the past few years it's been hot, tomorrow's temp is suppose to be 89 degrees and humid. The doggie part starts at noon. Another year I won't be taking my babies. They are use to being in AC all the time, unless we have a cooler evening, then I let them outside. Don't you think it will be too hot for them during the middle of the day? I guess I'm just venting, but every year I want to take my babies and the weather just doesn't cooperate. I'm just afraid they will get sick since they are not use to hot humid weather. What are your thoughts?
