Welcome to YT. Your pup is definitely young, but based on the circumstances the breeder has described to you and his size, I think it will be better for him to be with you. I hope you are able to be home with him all or most of the day. Definitely keep Nutrical on hand and give it regularly and have a good vet lined up in case of emergency.
