I already have a bad feeling, but here goes...
We purchased our Mia from a local pet store, she is supposed to be "American Kennel Club Registerable". The pet store paper work says that "if your puppy is registerable,
you will be notified by postcard when the registration papers have arrived, usually twelve weeks." I stopped in on Monday to see if they have arrived, and talked to 2 (child) managers who told me they had until Wednesday for it to be twelve weeks!!! (I was soooooooo angry
with their arrogant attitude - and I still haven't received a postcard) Anyway, is there any reason she wouldn't be registerable? And does anyone know how long it takes to get the paperwork?
I paid
alot of money for her, and was led to believe that she could be bred... not that I am, but I thought that I was paying for that option. I have since learned sooo much about these pet stores being fronts for puppy mills (from YT) that it literally makes me feel ill. But, I now feel like I saved our little Mia and I'm happy for that.
