OHHH WEEEE This post brings back memories. I worked ALOT of places and YEP alot of states you only get 2 something an hour plus tips...It's LEGAL. I also want to say as I got older I got WISER I started demanding more money for base pay or I wasn't taking the job....LOL I always got it too. I also did alot of bartending in nightclubs and this one time they decided we were going to SPLIT tips....that lasted about 2 shifts and I told them I was Quitting if it wasn't going to be keep our OWN tips. They went back to the old way
JEEZ I was making like $350 a night in tips and the other girl was like $100 a night so NO WAY I was splitting
