 need advice
I have read the forums for quite some time and this is my first posting.
Anyway our 10 year old female yorkie Amber passed away recently and my wife and i are heartbroken as well as our 12 year old male yorkie Toby.
Toby has been taking it very hard he walks around with his head hanging down and just pretty much not enjoying life anymore.
We were thinking about getting an older female from our local rescue but they said they have a long waiting list for females and they get way more males in than females,toby will not accept other male dogs and dogs that are bigger than him.
We know someone that has a female puppy that's 12 weeks old that we were thinking about getting but our concern is if toby is to old to have a puppy around.
So my question is do any of you think that a puppy would be to much for him or would it perk him up some?
