Yep, tip sharing is common, but if I were you, I would have your daughter figure up exactly how many hours she worked and what she actually made for that time period and see how much it works out to per hour. If it doesn't even add up to regular minimum wage, then she should be talking to her boss about how much they are taking out to share...she should at the very least be making minimum and it is probably illegal if she is not. It's great she enjoys her job, but she does need to be paid fairly.
