Disney Vacation-What do you recommend for my baby We are traveling to Disney in less than one week. I have a boarding appointment for my baby at the local vet office. However, I am a nervous wreck. My husband is active duty military and we have no family in the area to babysit for us. I only have two options:
1. Leave her at the vet and worry about her being stuck in a cage all day
2. Take her to Disney with us (we found a pet friendly hotel) and leave her in the room all day.
She is wee-wee pad trained, so leaving her inside the hotel room wouldn't be a problem as far as that is concerned. However, I'm worried about her having to spend 10-12 hours alone (traveling back to the hotel during the day just isnt' an option) in the hotel room. At least she could have the TV on and have free reign of the room and she would get to sleep with us at night. I can leave her toys, food, water, etc. But, what would I do when room service came in? Could I just tell the front desk about the situation? She isn't a barker, so that wouldn't be a problem either.
Is it too much to expect her to spend that many hours alone, or is it no different than having to spend all day in a cage?
I just dont' know what to do. Can someone with experience please give advice? Thanks, Heather |
