I tmay have been a day or so early...next breeding might go just fine. You can dilate with a dab of lub..not unusal. Of course, we perfer ties..it takes about 3 mins for the 3 fractions of semen to be deposited for an ideal breeding..I had a male who rarely tied, so when he entered, I held him and the bitches tighly together for about 10 mins..always got a nice. litter..
