i just want to point out that the size of the incision is not standard spay to spay and doctor to doctor. Baby could have been spayed with a laser but the Vet doing it might have needed to open her up a little more for whatever reason. he might not have been able to find her avaries and cords in such a tiny incision or they were buried under alot of other stuff. The vet's i used to work with always tried to keep the incision small but sometimes they had to make it slightly bigger to find everything and make sure all the blood vessels were tried properly.
The vet you used could have not been as experience with the laser as the other vet and that's why his incision was bigger, also.
If you upset though i would call the vet and talk to him directly and ask why it is so big and why he used staples on a spay. that's unusual
