I just posted this in General but I wanted to let you guys know that both of my dogs, Bentley and ChaCha are sick with the flu. They have had vomiting, uncontrollable diarrhea, lethargy and fever. We were back at the vets this am with ChaCha and were informed that there is an outbreak in the area with so many dogs having the same symptoms. The vet said he admitted 10 dogs in one day yesterday! While we were there several more dogs came in with the same thing. The tech told me they have only had 3 well visits and the rest are sick dogs with this flu. My dogs were boarded there last week and were infected there or so the vet now thinks since another dog who was boarding also got sick. They are being treated with flagyl but received a shot of penicillin and reglan in the office. Both had the option to be admitted by I chose to take them home (Bentley was there on Monday, ChaCha was seen today). Bentley is doing better today but poor ChaCha is not feeling so well
