You know, each vet gives different recommendations, just like each human dr. gives different recommendations. For my last 2 pregnancies I had to go to a specialist and my regular OB. My regular OB would not recommend any medications what so ever during pregnancy. My specialist would tell me that certain ones are ok. For humans, each medication has a certain "risk level". You can use them, but there are certain risks involved. I'm sure it is the same for animals.
