Another option is to contact the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America. They can put you in touch with a branch in your state (or nearby), and they have a breeder referral service. It's one way to ensure that you find a reputable breeder. Just my opinion, but I think it's always best to go and meet a breeder in person, and see the conditions firsthand. Also, it's a good idea to see the parents of the pup you intend to buy. Good Luck!
