I have to agree with you. Shelters and rescues are super strict which I totally understand (they don't want those poor dogs/cats to end up back on the street). But some people that I personally know (friends of mine) do not like them asking all kinds of personal, private questions. I understand why they have to ask those type of questions but it turns some people off.

Until pet owners take responsibility for their actions and realize that dog/cat ownership is a LIFETIME commitment, the shelters and rescues will always be full.
