It could have been the change in food that has caused this. I'm also thinking possibly your new pet duck is carring Giardia (a common parasite). Birds of all kinds are known carriers and the parasite can be spread by their poop. Hopefully, the vet will check her stool also. They can get very sick with Giradia or exhibit no symptoms at all. If this is the case, all the animals should be treated.
