I've met a bunch of famous people. My most recent famous meeting was with Evanescence (attachment). I won backstage passes and GREAT seats for a sold-out concert.
Other famous meets, courtesy of Disney:
Justin Timberlake, John Travolta, Jesse James (from Pearl Harbor) (both JT's at work, Jesse James was when I guided a deaf and blind woman and her friends around for fun and we got to do a private ride of Tower of Terror)
Famous meets not at Disney:
Royal Crown Revue (my favorite swing band), Matthew McCaughnehey (spelling?), Bridget Hanley, They Might Be Giants...
Other amusing meet story:
Robbie Benson-
I was watching the Candlelight Ceremony in Epcot on Christmas Eve when my parents called me to give me some bad news. I got up and left the show. I really wanted to cry, but I didn't know anywhere I could in peace...except backstage (behind the American Adventure). So I went backstage, sat on a short wall, and cried.
The show ended, and all the performers went backstage. Someone sat next to me, and said "Are you okay?" I looked up, and there was Robbie Benson! I explained that my parents are back in Virginia, and I'm here, and they gave me some bad news. He felt bad that I wasn't with my family for Christmas, and invited me to come to dinner with his family. I politely declined, and explained that it's okay, I'm Jewish. But he told me that I HAD to walk through the parks with his family for a little while so I had some "family" for the evening.
We went into a souvenier store, and I saw a shirt that had "MICKEY" in fingerspelling. I'm a deaf education major, so it really caught my eye. I asked him if he could please reach up to get me a shirt in the size I wanted (because I couldn't reach it

) and when he got it, he said "No, you're not paying for it. This is my Hannukah present to you."
So yeah, those are my famous people stories...
