I am sure you have given this a lot of thought and I commend you for placing your puppy before yourself.Just my own personal opinion but being alone that long is not a good thing and in a very small area makes it worse.The poor little guy will eventually become a recluse just like a child without the stimulation of love and play time.He will never get potty trained because there is no one there and you can't expect him to learn without a routine.
Good luck,I know you will do what you think is best for him and there are many ,many Yorkie lovers out here that would give your little man the time and love he needs.
