Hot dogs are high in fat and yorkies are prone to pancreatitis.
At 7.5 lbs I doubt yours could eat a whole cup. Mine can't.

I feed mine three times a day and they are very small meals. We take two looooooong walks a day; one of a morning and one in the late evening, so that keeps her from being hungry.
Sure! Give it a try. You might try another good quality dry food - there are a number of them. Find one that HE likes and will eat. I don't mix the chicken or cottage cheese with the dry. Mine won't eat it that way. She prefers hers separated!
