My first Yorkie also turned out oversized and even though I loved him very much, I was disappointed that he was loarger than I had expected. When the standard says 4 - 7 lbs. we are all expecting it to be within that size range. I believe it is also fairly standard to use a smaller male for breeding since you can't use a real small female. All that said, he is a cutie@ I know he brings you joy!
