Regardless of the situation they are in, if they do have guardianship and you just take the kids without their permission, you could get in a heap of trouble.
We have an in-ground pool and my grandkids are not allowed near the water unless I am right there watching them like a hawk. Accidents can happen in a flash, especially with a pool and even if someone is watching. It really doesn't matter what end of the pool he was in, it still could have happened.

The thing is, they were at a camp ground that had a pool, so this was not in someones back yard. I'm not sure if there mom has signed over gaurdianship or not. And we are not just going to take them w/out permission, we will see if the kids wants to come, were not like that lol but most likely the kids will want to come with us, they ask everytime we are over there.
