Interesting - thank you!

My family has owned restaurants - so most of this wasn't new information to me. However, where we live - we do have more stringent City and County laws allowing dogs or other pets to enter certain establishments (restaurants, of course).

But - I do think there is a trend allowing dogs to accompany people to outdoor restaurants. In my city - each outdoor restaurant has the right to make their own policy regarding this. And, if they do allow dogs, they maintain the right to ask any "misbehaving ones" to leave.

For the most part, I don't know of any serious problems we have ever had here.

Like all things - if we all teach our dogs how to behave - or take our dogs to some places only if they know how to behave - then we can all continue to enjoy our pets at more places.
