Better that she eats only chicken than nothing at all. Nutristat (available at a pet store for about $7.00 for a tube) seems to boost their appetite and should be given when they are not eating correctly.
It is dangerous to do an X-ray before Day 50 so I would be sure of my dates. An ultrasound is safer if you are unsure of the dates. Fertilization USUALLY occurs about 10 to 14 days after the first sign of the female bleeding. You should already be able to feel the pups moving very well by Day 50. |
