But with these small breed dogs, one does have to be a little more careful in temperature extremes whether heat or cold.
You can't do or not do what you don't know and it is easy to think it is okay in the shade. Maybe it was but it can be very risky unless there is a bit of a cool breeze because even the surrounding air is hot in the shade on a hot humid no breeze day.
We've had a record shattering heat wave here in my area almost a week now. I had to be pretty careful with my dogs especially because we aren't used to these high temperatures.



Thank you for the advise, I will keep it in mind from now on when we go outside. And I just didnt want anyone to get the wrong impression cause I try to be the best mommy.
