That is so funny because my Mini Dachshund (not the one I have now, but a previous one) used to "store" food. She was a little different though, LOL. She would eat and then even after she was done she would "save" some for later
She'd come walking up to us with her cheeks just as puffy as ever! Looked like a little chipmunk! lol
And no mam...she wouldn't just store the food on ONE side of her mouth...she would store it on BOTH! lol. I guess she was lazy and just decided one day that instead of having to GET UP for dinner, she'd just save some of her lunch and just start chewing whenever she got hungry later on during the day
