I know how you feel, but you shouldn't feel that way
I self diagnosed, via the web, my daughter to have ringworm a few years ago & freaked out. I took her to the doctors right away & found that ring worm wasn't actually a worm but more of a rash...whew!! Point being...just as we people are prone to certain funky things, so are dogs. It just happens & is no reflection of our parenting
