The vet did say toothpaste is more abrasive (not in a bad way) for cleaning, so I don't know if you want to get the tartar control mint toothpaste instead of the mint gel. I went back to PetSmart and exchanged the Petrodex for the Denta Clean mint gel. I hope Angel likes it and will let me touch her teeth!
