I'll bet that was enjoyable.
I am sure that most "outdoor" cafes aren't as strict about having pets visit.
And - (the most important thing is) that you obviously have a well behaved dog.
Regardless of where you go - dogs that don't behave very well just aren't very welcome.
I thinks it's people who take their well-behaved dogs out that make it easier for everyone else to do it in the future.
By the way - your dog looks like he was enjoying "eating out."
