Hey--just to let everyone know, the raised dish that I purchased at Petsmart for about $20 (features a black wrought? iron stand with two ceramic dishes that fit into each hole (cute paw prints on the dishes). It has been the trick. It's not to high (advertises as made for cats and small dogs) so he can easily feed from it--but very awkward for him to try fishing. My kitchen is no longer having to be mopped throughout the day!!! Yeah!!!!
