4 months is very young yet. Watch her as closely as you can to see any "signals" she might give you to let you know she needs to go. It can be as simple as just sitting and looking at you. Once you are able to identify her signals and patterns, it will be easier to know when she needs to go out. As you get the hang of it, she will too. Hang in there and good luck.
