I don't show, but I am pretty sure they are probably not show quality, but they are excellent pet quality. The best coat is the straight silky coat and all show dogs would have this. Even pet buyers prefer this coat because it is easier to take care of and doesn't tangle. I can't tell what type of coats yours have. Sir. Lancelot, Princess Isabella & Princess Arimathea all I think will have Silky hair and Sir. Galahad will have curly hair.. They are all Very healthy and I'm so so thankful for them being so very healthy.
Don't really understand when you say you haven't gotten any replies. Did you post on dogster to sell the pups or are you meaning people just haven't made comments or asked you to be their friend (don't know that much about dogster). I didn't get any comments from anyone here on my post. We're @ Dogster and have tons of friend there and we love it there!
I think with the gas prices the way they are that is really causing people to watch their money and curb their spending. I was talking to someone who did garage sales for people for a commission and she said traffic was like 25% of what she is use to seeing.
Did you advertise in your local newspaper or Thrifty Nickel? I know the smaller Yorkies sell for more money and are higher in demand, at least with pet quality pups. I am sure you have been looking at and calling local ads, are you within their price range according to size? I thought I remembered you posting about not wanting them to go to homes with children. I have two girls (both on their own now) that were always raised with Yorkies without any problems from a very young age so I don't think you should dismiss a home just because they have children. No I haven't even advertise yet...Isn't that bad...I'm thinking I'm just so scared of them going to bad homes and I've got to get out of this... They are healthy, bigger and fine...It's me! See this is my 1st litter and I've gotten so attached to these little guys!! As far as kids I have 4, 2 on their own and 2 (10.5 & 7. still @ home) & I just know how some let their kids roam are very careless with pets...NOT saying anything bad about kids in general just people from where I live...Maybe once again it's just me??? As far as prince I thought about $500.00 for the male and $600.00 for each female...This is around what I paid for both of mine...Maybe I should be looking on the breeder section??
If you really want a "sound" breeding program you should be breeding dogs that are both within the standard weight and their ancestors are all within the standard weight. This makes the outcome and future generations more predictable. Yes U're right and I've learned this with this litter! I'm wanting to find a smaller female to mate maybe with Sir. Galahad when he gets older (He is the one I'm keeping for he will be smaller.) And maybe that way I'll get smaller babies!
