Trixie is on a leash ALL the time. I learned this one quickly. When I first got her, I was lazy one night and thought: "she'll go potty right away anyway and I'll just pick her back up and carry her inside." She ran off and I have never been that scared in my life. She listens really well, but if she sees something that she can chase, she'll run after it until she gets it.
