I got my puppy at 7 weeks and she peed quite often at that age...every 10-15 minutes like yours. Each week she could hold her pee longer and longer. Now she is 12 weeks old and can hold it for several hours. She even sleeps through the night now!
I prefer outside training. We travel a lot to visit family and friends and we have company often. I would feel awkward going to someone's house and having my dogs pee or poop in their house (even though it is on a pee pad). You just don't know how people feel about that. Also, I don't want to have company over and have my dog peeing or pooping right in front of them! You know? Our climate is very mild here is Alabama, so it is convenient for us to train outside. I can see how it would be very inconvenient if you lived somewhere where it snowed all the time or rained all the time. |
