shaving them down is okay but I don't think leaving her hair long on her legs and just shaving her feet would be pretty, correct me if thats wrong, I don't have a poodle but if I remember correctly they just shave the foot a little ways up and leave the rest...I don't know, but lets see pics ...I shave my york/maltese down and I will not post pics I am no good at it but he is cool..
